1.     I found the benefits of yoga after a three day hospital stay. The lack of presence in my body created a level of stress so high that my body just gave in. Stress can manifest so many ways in the body. Luckily the symptoms were much bigger than the diagnosis. It was at that point that I committed to self care. After a five-year commitment to a constant personal practice I knew that gift of yoga was something that I had to share with others. I believe that yoga should be available to every body and should be available to everyone regardless of their economic status. Karma yoga is the corner stone of my practice. I completed my yoga teacher training with Kimberly Payne of Gathering Tree Yoga and have found great benefit in Isha Kriya meditations through the teachings of Sadhguru.
